Harrison Smith is a Pro Bowl free safety for the Minnesota Vikings. Smith played college football at Notre Dame, originally starting as a linebacker. He proved to be a versatile player for Notre Dame by playing multiple defensive positions throughout his four year college career. Smith entered the 2012 NFL Draft, where the Vikings selected him with the 29th overall pick. He had an immediate impact on the Vikings, starting at free safety to begin his career and improving each season. Once Smith’s rookie contract expired after the 2015-2016 season, the Vikings resigned him to a five year deal. Smith has been selected to the Pro Bowl for four consecutive seasons, starting in the 2015-2016 season. He has also been selected to the First-team All-Pro in 2017 and Second-team All-Pro in 2018.
