“PROSPER T-SHIRT” TEXT MESSAGING CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
These Official Rules apply to the 2016 American Century Championship “Prosper T-Shirt” Text Messaging Contest (this “Contest”) conducted by American Century Services, LLC (“Sponsor”), with these Official Rules available at americancentury.com. By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is offered to anyone who attends the 2016 American Century Championship Golf Tournament. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Unless specifically excluded as set forth in these Official Rules, any person who has provided the information required by these Official Rules and has entered the Contest within the timelines specified below (“Entrants”) shall be eligible to win a prize as set forth in the PRIZES section. Eligible entrants may enter the American Century Investments “Prosper T-Shirt” Text Messaging Contest by completing the HOW TO ENTER guidelines below. Limit: One prize per entrant. Employees, officers, directors and their immediate family members of the Sponsor and their respective parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Affiliates”), and any and all other companies associated with this Contest are not eligible to enter. For purposes of this Contest, “immediate family members” means parents, spouses, children, siblings, in-laws, grandmothers, or grandfathers. Members of the financial services industry should check with their compliance department before accepting a Prize, as described below. Void where prohibited.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OF ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS NOT REQUIRED TO ENTER THE CONTEST. In addition, opting out of further contact by Sponsor, via email, will not decrease your chances of winning.
TIME OF CONTEST: Contest begins at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PST) on Thursday, July 21, 2016 and ends at 3:00 p.m. PST on Sunday, July 24, 2016.
HOW TO ENTER: An eligible person may enter the Contest by completing these three steps:
- Visit the Prosper With Purpose Story Wall inside the American Century Investments Prosper tent at the 2016 American Century Championship Golf Tournament.
- Text PURPOSE to 222-752.
- Once you receive a text response, show that message to a Prosper tent representative, who will award you with a Prosper T-Shirt if you are one of the first 1,000 entrants to enter on either July 21, July 22, July 23 or July 24, 2016.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, mis-directed entries or entries not received in time for the random drawing. Use of any automated system (including, but not limited to, any bot, script, macro or a promotion entry service) to submit Contest entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Entries not actually received by Sponsor prior to the timeline specified above will not be eligible to win the Contest.
By submitting a Contest entry, you consent to be bound by the terms of our Privacy and Security Policy found at https://www.americancentury.com/en/legal/privacy.html. We do not sell your information. Under this policy, however, we may from time to time use your personal information to contact you by email. You may opt out from further communications.
PRIZE: Sponsor will give away up to 4,000 Prosper T-Shirts. Each is valued at $32. Limit one prize per person.
WINNER SELECTION: Prizes are awarded to entrants who complete the steps outlined above in the HOW TO ENTER section. The Contest limit is 1,000 Prosper T-Shirts per day (July 21-24) and prizes will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis at the American Century Investments Prosper Tent.
Winners will be responsible for all taxes (federal, state, local and/or income) and all expenses related to acceptance and use of prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for delivery.
By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that Sponsor has not made and is not responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or law, relative to the prize or any portion thereof. The winner further acknowledges by accepting the prize that Sponsor has not given any investment advice nor provided any investment research related to the granting of the prize. By participating, you agree to accept these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects.
CONDITIONS: Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of Sponsor to receive entry information for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s computers or mobile devices related to or resulting from entering, viewing or downloading any materials or rules of the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, misdirected, or damaged. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel Contest in its entirety, if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual that Sponsor believes is violating these official rules or that is suspected of attempting to disrupt or defraud the entry process or the operation of the Contest. By entering, entrants (a) agree to these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which shall be final in all respects; and (b) release Sponsor and its respective directors, officers and employees from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize. Noncompliance with the official rules will result in disqualification.
